Matches are the opportunity for the athlete to test and demonstrate their skills.
The primary match style is shooting a series of steel plates in a timed competition against the clock.
Athletes are not required to compete in matches but it is strongly encouraged as it is part of the personal development skills that is the mission of the team.
Matches are not like other typical sports that are played weekly against other local teams.
Some matches are against other school teams here in the Upstate.
Some matches are open to anyone, including adults, but the student-athletes are scored and ranked within a youth group (under 18 yrs old).
